Skin pass is the first working procedure of stainless steel finishing, it’s also the last procedure of cold rolling. It’s not for rolling down the thickness, but for the purpose of improving the mechanical property, to ensure the product shaping processablity, to improve the shape of strip to get straight steel strip, and improve the surface quality of strip.
